Q. When did you join PWS?

We first joined PWS on a 3 day weekend taster in late 2020.

Q. Why did you want to start investing in property?

I already had one Buy-To-Let (BTL) property and loved the process of turning a wreck into a home. I lost time with my family with my military service, so creating a passive income allows me to have choices.

Q. What do you do for a living?

In the Army as a mechanical engineer manager.

Q. Biggest learning to date?

How to leverage debt.

Q. What do you find challenging about your personal property investment journey?

Balancing work and a personal life as well as hitting KPIs and micro goals, to ensure we hit our life goals. It’s a balance!

Q. How has the education and network from PWS helped you?

Completely helped me understand what is possible. It’s given me a foundation of knowledge to allow me now to know what to ask as I develop as an investor.

The network has allowed me to remove limiting beliefs and control impostor syndrome. We have some huge goals - only set because I have been surrounded by mentors smashing the property game. I’m a work horse and I know if they can do it so can I!

Q. Tell us about a deal you've been really proud of...

Commercial shop with three bed flat above on auction, in a conversation area. The three separate roofs were all leaking, and there was excessive damp, both raising and damp course breeches.

The big girl was wet, so much so that it didn’t sell at the auction, but we secured it post auction.

Q. What's next for you?

Concentrating on larger commercial properties (300-500m2) to develop into residential and still growing the HMO portfolio
